I have known Ben Codere for about ten years. I own three cottages on Higgins Beach and Ben has worked on each one of them. I have always been very satisfied with his work. One of the cottages needed a new roof and he replaced the entire roof in a couple of days in the middle of winter.
For six years I served as a Trustee at the First Congregational Church in Scarborough. Durning that time he was able to accomplish several different jobs, not only on the Church but also in the Parish Hall and Parsonage. Several of the members of the congregation have hired Ben to work on their own properties and each one has been very satisfied.
I would highly recommend this man for any project, large or small that needs attention.

Ben did a significant remodel of our living room and kitchen, replacing tile, building two half walls with columns, painting, adding crown molding, and various other work. Everything was completed in a timely manner and looks great! Ben is reliable, detail-orientated, and skilled. We would use him again.

The home we moved into last March needed some upgrading and Ben Codere was recommended to us by our Real Estate agent.
Ben communicates extremely well, is accessible and very likeable. It is clear that he cares about the quality of his work and isn’t satisfied until the job is done right. His work is neat, he cleans up at the end of the day and we were pleased that he is a non-smoker.
Ben has a strong set of skill sets to handle a variety of projects. Some the work he did for us were replacing front and rear outdoor decks, restoring a laundry room, designing and constructing a basement workbench area and a storage shelf unit, creating a ceiling access panel, patching wallboard, misc. fix-it jobs like unsticking doors, adjusting door locks, hanging hallway coat rack units and bath medicine cabinet, assorted caulking, etc. He was also able to bring a very capable plumber and electrician to help when needed in a timely fashion – a huge plus! We were impressed with how well he interacted and collaborated with other contractors also working for us.
We consider ourselves most fortunate in having had Ben Codere work for us and recommend him without reservation.
