From our base in Scarborough, Codere Construction has spent more than 20 years building and renovating fine homes along the Southern Maine coast and in the lakes region to the west.
Scarborough sits right in the middle of the communities we serve. Head north and you reach Cape Elizabeth, South Portland and Portland in 10 to 15 minutes, then Falmouth, Cumberland and Yarmouth, and finally Freeport about half an hour up the coast. Go south and Biddeford is roughly 15 minutes away. Turn inland and the lakes region opens up, with Windham and Raymond surrounding Sebago Lake and its neighboring ponds.
Each of these towns asks something different of a builder. Oceanfront homes in Cape Elizabeth, Yarmouth and Biddeford Pool need materials chosen for salt air and wind. Historic houses in Portland’s West End and on Munjoy Hill call for careful renovation and respect for period detail. Lakefront properties in Windham and Raymond bring shoreland-zone planning, and many involve turning a seasonal camp into a year-round home. Established neighborhoods in South Portland and Falmouth often need more space, through a second story or a well-matched addition.
What stays the same is how we work. Led by Owner & President Ben Codere, we typically take on one project at a time, keep clean and organized job sites, and put communication first, including daily photos by text. Every project follows our 6-step process, and we work closely with Kevin Browne Architecture or your chosen architect.
